Olaleye Onikuyide

Olaleye Onikuyide is a lifelong West Hartford resident and the son of Nigerian immigrants. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Hartford and his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where his classmates chose him as commencement speaker. He is an Obama Scholar. Olaleye will be the Democratic nominee, backed by the town's mayor, the retiring State Representative, and other leading West Hartford Democrats.
Eli Sabin

Eli Sabin brings both policy depth and hometown credibility — including the endorsement of New Haven mayor Justin Elicker. Sabin is a Truman Scholar and Yale Law School graduate who has served on the New Haven Board of Alders, led Connecticut's progressive caucus and served as legislative coordinator for CT Voices for Children.

A former UConn student government leader, Ethan Werstler founded Husky Market, an innovative initiative which has delivered almost $500,000 in grocery gift cards to thousands of UConn students who need food assistance during their time at school.
